I know there are some GREAT threads about both and the engine (variants)

Yesterday I took the boss to look at a Canyon again - local dealer. Here: https://www.bellinghamchevy.com/new-inventory/index.htm?make=GMC&model=Canyon

Drove nice like before, good looking truck. I was not surprised by much (well the 2x4 sits like a 4x4 on the Elevation).

My MT Tacoma is just fine so cool down. Hahaha. I want a 4 door and AT because well so "others" can drive the truck.

I like this one: https://www.bellinghamchevy.com/new/GMC/2024-GMC-Canyon-abbe721cac180d5082ddb652b1e652d3.htm

But - can I get all the same stuff in the Colorado? Or Colorado "more better". I don't mind paying for stuff I like/need.

To me the canyon just looks sharper, more modern, better, and like the more expensive vehicle. The headlights are the newest and most modern long and thin slit design on the canyon which is also what other freshly redesigned gm vehicles are switching to like the new escalade while the headlights look like the older style on the colorado so I have the strong feeling the canyon will age better and look less old in the future. The canyon got the newest design language in the refresh while the Colorado got the slightly older design language.

Get the ZR2 Bison - and be somebody

When I was younger, I would always think to myself...Z28 or T/A???
I would switch back & fourth between the two(Camaro's & Firebirds) as changes were being made from year-to-year.
Today it's like, Equinox or Terrain Or Tahoe or Yukon, Silverado or Sierra???

Looking at the Canyon AT4 as a next truck. Why?
  • With correct options has a power passenger seat, not available in the Chev at any option level
  • Factory lift and factory wide body with wheel flare marker lights
  • I would take the factory AT tire upgrade on the 18" wheels
  • Interior is far better looking than the Chev
  • Exterior just looks better IMO as others have stated

Pretty much every thing I’m thinking

Historically, I have liked the GMC look better, on vans, and trucks. They just look cleaner to me. But, with the new Colorado and Canyon, they both look cool. Not sure. Sorry.

I do like these 2 trucks, but one deal breaker for me is no power sliding rear window.

Believe it or not, that's the hill I'm dying on here. I use mine in my truck hundreds of times per year, every time I hop in may - oct that window is getting opened.

To not include that as a feature is a decision only GM would make.

Does it roll down?
