4500 in a few months, I would leave it in. Takes me 6 months plus to get to 5K

With all the talk and pictures of torn media and doubtful bypass hardware and absence of materials specifications, I concluded early on that leaning toward shorter OCI made one a statistically smaller target.
Add in the higher chance of silica ingestion......
Clean is better than dirty

Trouble is, analysis is so costly. If your silicates are low, give it a stretch.

Ya I was hoping that's Baldwin filter would be better than a Purolator.

This morning I pulled it onto the slab. Changed the oil,filter and greased all 12 zerks. It got traveller 5w30 and a champion filter this time.
