Castrol GTX HM 10W-40 $1.65/qt AAP

Just did the same rebate on two 10W-40 GTX HM Syn Blends. The rebate system was so easy. Easiest one i have ever done, in fact. Just put in the basic personal info, store info, transaction number, register number….that was it. No “how many did you buy?” Etc. I cannot find any info about limits on the rebate or anything online…was hoping to find that here. Anyway, looking forward to getting two $10 rebates!

Supposedly, you can claim 995 rebates. A $1700 money maker if you can find 4975 quarts of oil at $1.65/qt

I got 7 qts of green bottle 10W-40 at $2.55 in Denver area.

I was on the fence about going over $2/qt but since 10W-40 is getting harder to find, I went for it. I really like the heavier weights for older trucks.

The register automatically puked out a rebate form-thing

I found three more qts at a different Denver location. I was about to leave and walked the back of the store. They had been moved to a clearance section end cap.

Advance seems to be pretty inconsistent with floor layout but the point is that it may worth a stroll

edit: the manager refused to charge CO's stupid .10 plastic bag fee which I thought was awesome :)

How many miles are on that mower? It's supposed to have 75k on it for proper qualification.
Nobody here north of Detroit has any 10-40HM for $1.65. They are charging $7 here.
Wow! the Castrol HM sold out quickly here, and I was fortunate to place an order before it was gone. I probably wouldn't have bought at regular price.

The mower is definitely high mileage at almost 26 y.o. and is used throughout the year to mow, chop leaves, chop sticks, etc. I'm not sure it is 75k though...that'd be a lot of walking! :D

I just got an email that the rebates that I applied for were approved. Some how though, and man am
I not complaining, it awarded me $10 per quart! I double-checked by doing a “Track My Status” email summary. What a glitch!

$70, $90, $90, $380… $630!?!? Wow!

47 quarts @ $1.65 = $77.55 + 8.75% NYST = $84.34

$630 - $84.34 = $545.66. I am shocked, excited and just giddy as all get out!

Makes the driving around one Sunday afternoon sipping a Hortons coffee bumping some tunes in the Tahoe worth it!

I hope you all are as lucky.

I got the same email. I purchased seven quarts, rebate approved for $70. Well ****, that's a surprise.

This doesn't deserve its own thread as I'm not sure it's repeatable but watch for buckets of 85W-140

This was marked down to ~$52 outside Co Spgs. $5 Speed Perks made it about $47+tax
