Sick of USAA raising their rates for no reason. No accidents, tickets, etc. etc. but they claim that had to raise Oklahoma rates to stay "competitive." I have called them twice to try and understand why my rates went up even though the value of my cars depreciated another year, but no real clear answer. Been with USAA since 1994 and now shopping around. Best rate is by far, Progressive. Better comp/collision amounts and even included rental car and on road assistance. You know what they say, if it's too good to be true, then it usually is. I know that USAA and Progressive have some sort of partnership, but that's about it. I've called a couple of local repair shops and they all had good things to say about Progressive. So, what do you all think? Good, Bad or Indifferent? Wonder if I could go back to USAA if I did drop them later on? I'm not dropping my account, as I have money with them and exclusively use their MasterCard. I'm not talking about 10 to 20 dollar a month increase, but a couple of hundred dollars. Credit rating is excellent, no accidents, tickets, own and still in the same house for over ten years.
