This landcruiser got into an accident and the frame separated from the body .
is this normal ? because this is my first time seeing such thing .

Looks stock? no body lift?

Wonder if there are mitigating circumstances, like recent body off repairs, and it just wasn’t done right.

That is not normal. Even on rusted out junk with lower safety standards, like an 80's pickup, it's rare, and the body would be crumpled and torn.

Everything looks new.
I wonder if a truck body was "temporarily fastened" to a bare frame and the vehicle was on its way to a equipment fitter when a crash happened.

It might depend on the type of crash. I didn’t see another vehicle involved. I wonder if they hit something that caused that kind of separation?

There is not enough info there to have a clue what the details are.
Guess is dangerously & stupidly modified for some reason.

There is a reality about the modern front wheel drive cars. They are designed so much different than the older
North American steel (barges) vehicles we used to drive. No drive shaft down the center. Lots of suspension
and frame attachment differences also.
I have seen so many front - wheel drive sedans (happens to be all I own these days), when involved in
certain type front end crashes, the entire front of the car is just about separated from the body at the
fire wall. Very sobering to see what can happen in a second. Body from firewall back just sitting there with the
entire front end, engine and transaxle off to the side. YIKEs

WOW! Never seen more than a few mounting bolts shear in an accident. Maybe poorly heat treated batch of bolts got to the factory? Or just the circumstances were unusual and not a structural failure. Not a structures guy, so my speculation is worth what you pay for it.

:ROFLMAO: Me 2! Thank u! I am suffering bad sciatica / pinched nerves in low back AGAIN for about 6 days. Can't hardly sit / stand or walk even.
Your comment tickled me and gave me the first smile on my face in a while. OMG :ROFLMAO: I may use it on my signature.

Sounds like a good thing. The demolition of those items is from the dissipation of crash energy, thus making the stop less sudden, and hopefully less injury to the occupants.

There's a picture online of a road tractor whose cab was nearly completely torn off the frame after a high-speed accident, and even that didn't come close to what's in the OP.

I have seen a lot of wrecked vehicles and never seen a body come off as pictured. It must not have been bolted on properly and I am surprised some of the parts such as the steering column and seat belts etc were pulled away as well. There are lots of parts, wires, and linkages that are somewhat connected to the unibody or frame on all vehicles.
