Hello everyone! As you all know, it is comming close to the end of this great year.
I am going to do a presentation, or a big chart, on the Oil you BITOGERS used (By the most common brand, weight, and wheather it was syn or dino.) I want to see what is most liked by this site, and also provide fun facts by January 2, 2011.
If anyone would also like to ad an idea for me to calculate, please post here!

Average amount of oil used per year (used as in poured into the engine as part of regular oil changes, not as in "my engine is consuming 1qt of oil per 1K miles")

Oil grade by geographical location (state/country)

Oil purchase location (name of local store or online dealer)

I don't know how you're going to get this info, but it'd be cool to see such stats.

I will get my info from the POST YOUR LATEST OIL CHANGE thread.
I will not include the store bought...and maybe will include the locations of the weights.

I am using my time to do it so I would apprechiate people actually reading it correctly.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing your findings, and I DO understand you're not looking for votes or gathering info from this thread. But I will make a prediction that it will be either PP or PYB at the top of the chart.

As for tallying up just what most BITOGers use REPEATEDLY, would be all that's needed, whether the oil is consumed more, costs more or UOA results left aside. If a large number of us continue to use an oil change after change after change, despite any weaknesses, that speaks volumes.
 
Sooooo in other words if you change your oil before December 31,2010 you need to post it in the POST YOUR LATEST OIL CHANGE THREAD !!
