Meeting/Exceeding "performance specs" is still a word-play, yeah? No other blenders make that claim, rather "recommended for". From what I gather BG is shady. There is no warranty expressed. I was not aware that LT17714 specs were even published. Discuss.

That's it, their Synthetic ATF. The BG box says "meets performance specs of Audi ATF". I know performance specs are not the whole story, theere are also endurance specs like oxydization, visc change, volitility. etc.

The typical consumer doesn't care for specs.
BG caters to the 'BG shops', and not to the typical consumer, or to BOTG members.
Most people don't even know(or care) what their getting when they go in for a fluid service.

Whats the point of all those tests if you plan on changing the ATF regularly?
Those tests were to 'try' to create lifetime fill fluids which did nothing positive for transmission longevity.

I don't see why ANY full synthetic ATF couldn't easily surpass the oxidation, viscosity, and volatility testing.
