Me too Eddie. Invisible Glass is bad (well you know it rhymes with glass)

+1 on Stoner's Invisible Glass. Stuff is great and really leaves no streaks. Also, folks often see streaks when cleaning windows and it turns out it is not the cleaner but residues from the paper towels, cloth towels, etc that they are using. Cloth run through a drier with those drier sheets contains a streaking residue, for example. Some paper towels also seem to have some type of an oily substance in them.

I like to clean glass first with a few drops of dawn dish detergent added to the water to get rid of the gross soils and grease and then follow-up with a water rinse with some vinegar in it. Then I take some rubbing alcohol for the final wipe. I do the glass in my vehicles yearly inside/out and they end up so clean that it looks like you could put your hand through them.

I periodically polish/clean my windshield with Bon Ami 1886 powdered cleanser. A little water and a standard hand polishing pad.

I feel like I've tried every glass cleaner that's made (which of course isn't possible) and I've still yet to find anything that cleans as well as vinegar and water...it even cuts the crud that gets on the inside of the windshield...

Im a dawn dish soap and water guy. And learn how to use a good squeegee.Get the edges with microfiber. Use a sponge to wash maybe a magic eraser on the tough stuff. Works on All windows.

If the glass is not to dirty and pretty clean already with just a film over it from time, a tiny bit of tap water and a microfiber cloth work awesome and 100% streak free.

+6 on Sprayway. I didn't care for IG that much. Strong odor and usually took at least two times to get rid of the film. Plus reading the instruction says it is often necessary to clean the glass twice. No thank you.

I recently bought Sprayway at Walmart in the auto section for $2.88 for a large aerosol can.

Another vote for Dirtex.

Up here, I'd suggest ordinary Bon Ami, since it's an ordinary spray on glass cleaner up here.

Any time I see a thread where someone suggest Bon Ami for scratches and so forth, I have to think twice, since we don't have the same product.

The newspaper with that really polishes the glass then finish with a microfiber, try it if you don't already use it.

I haven't tried newspaper, but I get good results just using MF towels...I'll have to try it next time...

This is the non-aerosol version and I am not sure if I like it yet. It doesn't seem to have the cutting power that the windex had so I have to go over everything twice to get it clean. Also, it seems to dry so fast that it ends up drying before I can wipe it. When that happens, I end up making smears and streaks with the microfiber cloth I am using to wipe the windows. A little extra buffing with a cloth and the glass does come very clean though. I guess I just need to get used to it a little more.

Maybe I will try gunk or some other brand of glass cleaner next time.

I prefer the aerosol over the non-aerosol Invisible Glass, it stays put and doesn't run down the window. I also picked up some Sprayway at wally because a lot of guys here like it but can't tell the difference between the two.
