I stumbled onto this method maybe a year ago but I've been familiar with and used Adams Polishes (and other brands) since 2012. When cleaning the inside of a windshield it can be very tough to truly clean all of the haze from the dash outgassing or other haze. Try using Adams Polishes Brilliant Glaze with a hand held foam applicator on the interior of the windshield and really spending some time to work the product in and spread it around. Let come to a full haze after maybe 5-10 min and then wipe off with multiple clean low nap MF towels. It seems that the Brilliant Glaze has some sort of solvent or chemical that eats through all of the crud that a normal glass cleaner just wipes around. I do this twice a year in our car on the interior of all of the glass and it's amazing how clear they are after. Usual caveats apply - don't do this in direct sun light or extreme heat; use multiple clean towels to remove; don't get it on the surrounding dashboard; etc.

There are folks that don't understand the elbow grease that needs to go into using "Windex". It isn't a spray, wipe, & done. You reminded me that I need to clean my Volvo windshield though. Once a year is mandatory, twice even better. This time of year there is a lot of junk in the air from fall weather. You made me think about using some "scratch remover" compound that I have on the windshield. Of course I'll try a small spot first to see what happens. :)

I've met Adam a few times, he's a super cool down to earth guy. I started using their detailing products way back when it was just he his wife and friend running the company. I didn't know about the Brilliant Glaze. Their glass cleaner and waffle weave towels are amazing. Glass Science makes a glass scrub specifically for glass.

I recently used an APC diluted 1:20 to cut any interior film on window followed up with Stoner's Invisible Glass using a Autofiber Glass Towel. Came out great. Many of the interior detailers or glass cleaners are alcohol based, which does fine for 90% of the interior but at times you need something with more cut for the film left behind on the interior glass.

Magic Eraser is used by window cleaning professionals to clean grimy windows.
I have used it and my window glass is almost as if it weren't there.

I use a glass polishing towel thats used for polishing wine glasses in fine dining restaurants and wrap it around a windshield reach tool. Absolutely zero lint. Lots of options on amazon. Should you ever need to clean the towels, just rinse them out with hot water only. I will use a regular microfiber towel if there is any haze on the glass first.

I take a dampened rinse-less microfiber and wipe the windows first, and then take a dry microfiber and go over it. This process usually works well for me. Waffle weaves makes the drying process even easier.
