Best Auto Glass Cleaner?

Just started using Sprayaway after running out of Stoner's. Both work well.
BTW, newspaper ink used nowadays is different than what was used in the past, so not as effective as before. I use microfiber towels now. Only if outside glass is especially gritty will I use either newspaper or paper toweling for the initial wiping.

I use 1 oz of denatured alcohol with 15 oz of water and microfiber towels. Learned from a detailer around 14 years ago. Leaves a no-streak finish.

I've tried a lot of them and came to the conclusion that the 'towel' used to wipe and buff is more important. Newspaper does seem to work great (I just don't generally have any around after our local paper became garbage). I've found that paper towels are often the source of streaking. I've read that paper towels have a wetting chemical added to them for improved absorbancy and it causes the streaking.

That said, I've settled on Sprayaway because it's about as good as anything else and is pretty cheap on sale at Menard's.

+9 on Spraway is the total so far. I didn't count those that said both Sprayway and IG are good. Newspaper does work well but my hands turn black after using it.

One of the professional detailers on here that is very good has mentioned he uses water and Carpro Fast Glass towels. Looks like they have a perfect review score.

I see a lot of people are saying they like Sprayway...I tried it and found it left streaks on the inside of the windshield. My guess is it has a hard time removing the film left on the inside of the windshield by the fumes coming off of the dash when it's heated by the sun. I have found that vinegar and water have no problem whatsoever removing this film...

Agree. IG is a solid product, and not subject to the potential damage caused by some of the other caustic products out there.
