True. But that's a poor example because he was shot over 30 yards away. He was also shot with a 28 gauge shotgun. Had he received the same blast in the face, from a 12 gauge, while they were unloading their guns at the truck, Cheney would have been attending his closed casket funeral.

Given the choice, no. I'm just saying taking a round of 12 gauge into the human body at close range is going to be devastating. Regardless of the size of the shot.

Frankly, any 20 gauge load will put the guy out of the fight with a body hit, unless he has armor on that absorbs all the pellet energy.
