Average Age of Bob Member's Vehicles

I think mine works out to 12. Which I think is the national average. Go figure - mediocre my whole life.

In the late 90s, there was a TV commercial for "1-800-SAFE-AUTO" insurance where a guy said, "My car is twelve years old! Does it look like I can afford car insurance?!??" (At the time, I had a 12-year-old Caprice and it seemed OLD).

Times have sure changed!

'96 - my daily
'98 - my pickup truck
'03 - girlfriend's spare car
'13 - girlfriend's daily

Love the efficiency, power, and safety of newer vehicles but can't stand the UI.

2024 F150, exactly 1 year
2017 Jag F-Type S, 8+ years (and is still among the most fun cars I've ever owned, just a flat out blast to drive)
2003 Jag X-Type, nearly a century old :ROFLMAO:
1971 Cessna Cardinal 54 years old
Avg 10.6 years. But the old jag needs to go.
