Average Age of Bob Member's Vehicles

I have a 10 year old car and an 8 year old car (if you consider that 2026 is the current newest model year you can get) So my fleet is an average of 9, that was easy math 🤓

Easy one for me. 8 years unless you count the Tiger which would make it 7.6.

My 2016 CRV was built in October of 2015, so 10 yo for mine.

Between the drunk and drugged out drivers and the ones running from the police in stolen vehicles, we average one good wipe out of parked vehicles per 5 years. 7 over 35 years. Last one was 4 years ago. Sometimes only one parked vehicle gets totaled. Sometimes multiple. Once a drunk in a truck took out 4 and a power & phone pool.

Had my 85 Olds 88 Coupe for 28 years, but that was garaged.

My CRV is parked on our street. So I have to wonder?

6 cars and 1 truck, all are drivable but only 2 or 3 are road-licensed and insured at any given time, age between 21 - 58 years, averge is 28 years old, all are MoPar.

I have a 2015 and 2021. So avg is 7.

I would guess when the news says "avg age of vehicles on the road" they probably don"t include antique or maybe not even cars in a car collection.

"on the road" says to me regularly driven. I would say regularly driven is once a month at least. I would include the cars not driven in the winter. Just not the cars driven once a year to car show. But other opinions may persist.

2003 F450 - 23 yrs

Average age: 22.8 yrs. Dragged down by the old square-bodies that have not been on the road in many years.
Average age of vehicles on the road currently: 13.8 yrs

He’s not a member but my son owns two vehicles that are both almost as old as him! He was born in October 2001 and he has a 2002 WRX and a 2002 Silverado. So his vehicles’ average works out to 24 years old
