Anyone know anything about these?

I've found that they've recently shown up at the big retailer in town... right next to the Motorcraft filters... but for about $1.25 less.

I did not find them listed in the "Who Makes What Filter" sticky.

Autolite and Fram are part of the same conglomerate, so my guess is that they're Frams with different packaging and labeling.

Look at an Autolite filter box...it says "made by Honeywell Consumer Products, Danbury CT". Look at a FRAM box...it says the same thing. You do the math.

It's a shame the grand old name of Autolite is now associated with such a #@$%! company...

Autolite and Fram are both form Honeywell. I ahd aset of auttolite plug wires, sark plugs, fram filters, and an air filter for my room, thier all manufacutred at the same place.

The "grand old name" has been owned by Honeywell (as the former Allied Signal) for quite some time.

sadly, their filters are poor, but their Autolite spark plugs are fine as are their Bendix brakes. Autolite is the vendor for most Ford Motorcraft spark plugs.
