Motorcraft FL910s

I really like the Premium Guard filters for sure. I don't have a big issue running Made in China filters, but for those who do, which filters are currently best that are made in USA?
I know this is not a popular opinion around here but I will give you my sole opinion. Purolator line of filters, particularly the One & Boss, have good Made In USA options. Now they do outsource to other countries for some so best to check prior. FRAM PH, TG & FE line but if you want to keep cost down & easy availability the Super Tech's are okay if you don't mind the current leaf spring leakage on any of those three. Some are good & some are bad on those. The Purolators do have the endcaps popper issue but like mentioned it stays together unless cutting apart. Decide your Pro's & Con's. Many of us have realized there is no "Best" filter. Just some general notes here.

Based on the videos I posted earlier in this thread showing that loose potting glue can come loose and get into the engine, the Motorcraft filters are never going to be used by me again.

Lots of guys have VCT issues on their Ford Coyotes, and I'm wondering how many are related to crud like that filter potting material coming off the Motorcraft oil filters and blocking VCT screens. If those screens get clogged up, the VCT starts malfunctioning.

Well captain Justin; you have your opinion and I have mine. Purolator/Protec/Auto Extra “filth” will never touch my vehicles or families. End caps falling off is a total joke of quality. No excuse for that.

I can do better with donaldsons and Prime Guard, Premium Guard and my stash of OG ultra and my Tiraniums that are wire backed.

Just bought 7 motorcraft filters for the truck and mazda in December. What would you do? Use them? Throw them out? try to inspect them? Still have a coup[le of the FL400s for the van as well.

Agree, They asked for U.S. built filters so tried to keep it there. Purolator needs to fix that issue period but I still like them. Like I said pick your pro's & con's there's no perfect filter. Donaldson I think is mainly heavy equipment? Perhaps they have more applications. I have no idea where Donaldson is made but assume they may have US options?

My car uses the 910 filter, and have since changed to the Carquest Premium 85516, a little larger filter. Havent torn one apart yet, coming soon. When I bought the last one, from AA it was $7 and change. I went to stock up yesterday; they have raised the prices to $10.
