Here is a a 150-2074 Denso filter. It is a ph2 equivalent. Next to it is an application-equivalent AC Delco filter just for a size comparison. Made in China. It did have a lubricated gasket and plastic covering the opening. It had a nice caged coil spring bypass valve, nice flexible anti-drain back valve and good gluing and pleat spacing and a thick base-plate. I tried to show a picture of the louvers. Also, the media was not glued at the ends, just held together with a metal clip. The media is also on the thin side and feels very much like construction paper. Filter area is 2.375”x89”=211.375 square inches.

Thanks for the C&P. Denso claims their filters contain silicone ADBV's. Did the ADBV feel silicone to you?

Those louvers look longer than what usually see with other brands. Is that the case or is the picture playing tricks?

That would be a interesting development on Denso’s part if it is true.
