Old subject I know but I have not seen a solid answer. I have narrowed my choices down to two; Motorcraft or Havoline. If they are both a blend then it won't matter-probably won't matter anyway since I do 3k OCI's. There are only pennies difference in price in my area and Walmart stocks both. Thanks for all replies! Everybody have a great weekend and God Bless.

blend of what?? base oils types that is very common due to price, valiblity, and othet technical rasoms do not worry about it not important.

Who cares! Motorcraft's oils are made by blending group I and group III basestocks, which lets them advertise it as a blend. Perhaps Havoline gets to the same point with all group II+ basestock. I don't know what the case is, but being labeled a blend or not is no more reason to buy an oil than is the color of the bottle it comes in.
