anyone heard of TruSouth oils?

my local auto store sells trusouth motor oil in 55 gal drums for $319
they have a site and say the 5/20 and 5w30 are syn blend

My thoughts are this: you could got to Wally, buy 11 5qt jugs of nearly whatever flavor of name-brand FULL synthetic you please and still have enough money to buy 11 quality filters, 2 or 3 rolls of shop towels, and a few gallons of windshield washer fluid... maybe even a Big Mac on the way home, too.

That's a $1.45 per quart. Not bad, but I think I'd buy a 5 quart jug of Motorcraft for $12.00 and put the other $307 in the bank, because 55 gallons of oil would last me 18 years.

Wow I feel like a dummy. For some reason I just thought in my head of a 55QT container, not 55 GALLON!!! Please completely disregard my stupid post above. I'm the moron who forgot to figure 55 gallons as 220 qts.

Sounds like it could be a good deal if its quality is anything like the Motorcraft oils.
