Anyone Deal With Police Harassment???

I guess telling the OP he's a moron would be "offensive " or whatever they're calling it today.

I've never seen so many selfish , entitled losers in my life, you can cut and paste like a Facebook secretary about bad cops but not a single copy and paste on the victims left on the roadside dead from entitled losers like the OP.

Too much money to be made on the whole drunk driving agenda. From tickets, to court, to classes etc. Cops will never stop fishing for this easy cash cow. Best advice get a Christian girlfriend to drive you home every night.

You know those breatholizer machines that they install on vehicles that you have to blow into for your vehicle to operate?
You should consider buying two of them. One for your car and one for your computer that you post from.

My sister was killed by a bus driver who was well known for having boozy breath as he drove his route, but back then that was just what "real men" did and everything was covered up. She was 6 years old.
The OPer can go straight to [censored] as far as I'm concerned, and that's coming from a Chicago native, too.

2 or 3 beer and a meal isn't buzzed or "toasted". Especially American swill however that's not what this op seems to be referring to.

I am utterly disgusted with the entire subject and the op's attitude towards a behaviour that takes people's lives.
I hope querty forgets his seatbelt and Darwinism prevails. What kind of dirtbag actually starts a thread like this.

Gun control is working well for you guys...

OP- That is not police harassment and gives wrong meaning to the term for those of us that actually have suffered from real harassment!!

I was pulled over a few years ago by a WV State Trooper for doing 60mph in a 55mph rolling down a steep mountain. No warning and he was a straight up [censored]. a month later same trooper pulls me over for "failure to yield" at a "Y" intersection at 10pm at night and there wasn't a single other car on the road.

I go to court and contest both tickets, which of course [censored] off said trooper and he and the Prosecuting atty whispered back and forth and eventually gave me the maximum fine for speeding, plus court costs and dismissed the failure to yield citation. They got their money, which is what its all about these days! REVENUE! but driving drunk, "toasty" or whatever you call it is deserving of a DUI and jail time!! I have no problem with a couple drinks and as long as you aren't over the legal BAC limit you should be sent home with no questions. I love a few beers with a good meal but its a fine line.

Without considering blood alcohol level level, you are driving around at the peak time of bad things going on. Your schedule is the problem. My Grandmother and aunt were killed by a drunk driver when my mom was only 6. Another cousin and her husband were killed a few years ago as well. Both head on collisions.

No, 0.08 BAC is not a good measure of impairment, it's well beyond when your skills degrade. Study after study has shown that and the laws changed from "back in the day".

Your right to drive "toasty" isn't a right...and while you have the right to refuse a breathalyzer, the state has the right to suspend your license if you refuse.

Sure, the law used to be more lenient, and many of us did things that we shouldn't have...but most of us grew up.

Let me ask you this: would you be OK boarding my airplane if I was a bit "toasty"? If I had a few cocktails just before?

Have you thought about Uber?

After seeing a mother trying to rescue her daughter from wreckage after being t-boned at an intersection and both of them being plowed into a second time and killed all because some degenerate was "toasty", and by the way, he "suffered" a broken foot and is already on parole 1 year later, the OP can kindly F off.

Yes, you have a right "to enjoy" yourself, but that right does not extend to driving under the influence or driving in any way that endangers other individuals All rights come will corresponding responsibilities. Many individuals don't understand that basic rule of law because they don't hear it growing up. I tried to emphasize that concept to my eighth grade social studies students when I was teaching. I recall hearing in a US Constitution political science course a long time a long time ago something like your right to swing your fists freely in the air ends at the point of another person's nose. Sounds like you need to check into cBT.

Zach,

That was terrible watching an accident like that.

The law is very simple..... Over the limit, Under arrest.

OP already has two DUIs and claimed he doesn't drink anymore

From the 5th post in that thread:

Thank God, I don't drink anymore because I really didn't care about any innocent victims on the road.

You are trolling, right?

In my state, 0.08 BAC is DUI, period. Impairment is irrelevant. There are other statutes to catch impaired drivers at lower levels of BAC.
