any of you listen to Ryan Adams? i have always liked his music esp when he was with Whiskeytown. I have only seen him perform with Whiskeytown.. to me he is one of the few really good inteligent singer songwriters around. alot of his music actually has substance and not ----. imo.. his latest cd is pretty good also the latest from him and The Cardinals "Follow the Lights" is good too

yeah esp in concert.. if his "art" isnt perfect he gets very ---- and usually walks off stage haha.. though a lot of his music is pretty inteligent i think. he suffers a form of manic depression so i have heard. whether or not its that with the drugs or just the drugs and alchohol (which supposedly he quit last year) probably assisted him being inconsistant. i am kind of glad of the incosistancy, it keeps it interesting. he can play a variety of music so why not let him play it ya know?

Canadian radio is forced by law to play 35% Canadian content. Because of this, we have been bombarded with Bryan Adams for almost a quarter century, so I think I know the difference. Adams is Canada's answer to Bon Jovi and that is not a compliment, BTW. As for Ryan Adams, he once walked off the stage because someone yelled out, "play Summer of '69!". I can't blame him.
The only Canadian musician I can listen to for long is good ol' Gord.
