What are you talkin about with the occasional ultra cartridge? I also wonder why, Fram puts metal in caps on the extra guard and not on Fram Ultra guard..

You’ve got that reversed, the ultra has metal end caps and the extra guard and tough guard have fiber end caps. If you search bitog, you find some failures in European vehicles for some reason
