Thanks for the input everyone. Good to hear about the Denso reman procedure, never would've thought it was a bit sketchy.
It's at a shop now to confirm that's the issue and to check for other damage...will likely have him replace it, since it's not a fun job. That being said, as stated above, should let him pick in case it goes bad again. I'd consider a junkyard one, but no one lists the miles and I'm assuming the warranty is about nil. They all seem to fail at 130-150k anyway, like clockwork.
