bub that's marketing nonsense. My jeep is at 190 and I consider it medium milage. A well taken care of non-lemon model is high mi past 300k imo. Of course that is a wet dream for those of you who drive the salted roads..sorry guys.

If it's not leaking there isn't any need for it.

Just because the bottle says use after 75000 miles it doesn't mean your engine requires whatever is special about the oil at that mileage. It's a marketing gimmick for no minds who can't think for themselves.

Since Walmart has full syn Mobil High Mileage for $27 per 5 quart large bottle, why not just go for a full syn, benefiting from higher oxidative stability, less piston (WPD) deposits, better cold weather performance? Some people just want barely adequate, so just use Mobil Super conventional for cheap at Walmart if you're into mediocre.

I didnt wanna go full synthetic considering the previous owner might have ran conventional for 16yrs so throwing full syn might clean up too much and clog things up.

That is a marketing platitude.

Then don't.

If the previous owner was changing oil like he should have, then it shouldn't be a problem to switch to synthetic.

If he did neglect to change oil, your screwed, no matter if you use synthetic or conventional.

I don't see synthetics cleaning any better than conventional oils. Synthetics lay down less deposits per mile, which is different than dissolving and holding contaminants in suspension. You'd have no problem running synthetics. Its your choice, either use the best or not.

There is no "best" oil. I vote with my brain and my wallet. I'm not concerned with the supposed "best" thank you very much

As has been stated, if the vehicle has been maintained decently, switching to a full synthetic should not be a problem,
I'd say to keep on using dino unless you want to prolong your OCI's.
Unless you are having trouble with usage or leaks, going to a HM oil is pointless and a waste of money (unless you bought up a stash cheap or something.)
The idea of 75K being high mileage is so incredibly stupid and asinine, I don't even want to get started on that.

well it was only $15 for mobil super high mileage 10w30 and figured cause i dont know when it was last changed or what type of oil was in it before and the mileage being 137k i would go with it.

If you got it cheap, that's fine.
My point is don't pay extra or go out of your way to use it unless there is a demonstrated need.

Mobil Super High Mileage is API SN and is also "Resource Conserving" You should be good with it. I have used it at one time and didn't notice a difference.

That you'll get better MPG, something like ½%...
