Having owned 4 3800 powered cars.

1998 Bonneville N/A
2001 Grand Prix GTP
1998 Buick Regal GS
and the current 04 Grand Prix.

I can tell you, you don't need a high mileage oil. The seals are not cork. The can't expand when the are bad they are bad.
You will most likely at some point have to do the valve cover gaskets and perhaps the oil pan gasket.

Run a good quality 10W30. I put 270,000 on my 01 Grand Prix with Mobil 1 10W30
280,000 on the Bonneville with Castrol GTX 10W30

The Regal now has 170,000 and has had Mobil one since 52,000. I did have to do the oil pan gasket in that car.

I have Mobil 1 in the Grand Prix just run a good quality dino oil.

and oh you need this.

ZZPerformance Stage 1 kit

Assuming you use an API-labeled quality oil (i.e., avoiding some of the lousy oil sometimes found by PQIA, the answer to your question is 'no'. There's nothing bad about HM oil. That being said, are there symptoms leading you to consider it; i.e., unacceptable leakage/oil consumption? 137,000 miles in a '99 model car doesn't seem that big of a deal imho.

That's a good oil and will work well. I would try a 10w30 first, should work well.

Look at Wal-Mart, they've had a great price on the 10W30 MaxLife full synthetic-$18.18 for a 5 qt. jug, & a $10 off coupon on 2 jugs.

137 isn't high miles I'd keep using a regular Pennzoil 5w30 until the car dies. Fix whatever leaks develop instead of using thicker oil or something dumb like that. Doesn't have to be Pennzoil either.

im not sure if its leaking oil or not i just bought it i just figured cause it has 137k i should run a high mileage oil but its also supercharged and i heard synthetic is the best to run in supercharged or turbo charged engines.

That L67 V6 will last a long time on regular old 10w-30. Change it regularly, run premium fuel, and it'll keep giving you a good time when the rest of the car is junkyard fodder.

The supercharger is completely separate from the engine oil system on that car. It's not like a turbo that depends on the engine oil supply. It uses its own oil. Change that oil with the GM-recommended stuff, try not to barf at the smell, and keep the engine oil changed regularly.

Yes. Except for the premium fuel. No need for that.

No need to use high mileage unless your car burns oil and you find yourself topping it off.

Wrong supercharged 3800s are prone to spark knock/detonation with anything less than 91 Octane. They are tuned from the factory to run on 91. They pull the timing WAY back on the cheap stuff. It hurts the cars performance, the cars gas mileage and has the possibility of causing damage while under boost at WOT. I been around them long enough to have see it first hand with data logging.

well i just bought mobil super high mileage 10w30 is that ok or i should stick to conventional? its a syn blend. I dunno i just heard alot saying go with a syn blend or full syn since its more of a sporty car cause its supercharged....

I've got a couple of 10W30 semis lined up for mine next few OCIS (both are A3/B4), and will settle on 5W30 A3/B4 for both my vehicles after I use those up.
