Did my oil change today! Just over 3,000 miles back in February had my upper intake gaskets done Buick LeSabre 1998.they were leaking. Mechanic put prime guard on ( filter I cut open black can dirty media), and used wolf? Oil .the one with wolf on the cover semi synthetic saw it in his shop .
The clean media is a super tech filter Walmart I used for 30 minutes clean oil flush after using berryman intake cleaner via a vacuum hose .I tried it's plastic hook that would go into throttle body,but it broke.
I am using a Bosch premium I got for free from Amazon last year, and 4.5 quarts of fram conventional oil. Car is quiet, wants too run. The old oil,black....the pic with torn up media was me removing it from prime guard and trying close up of how carbon dirt saturated media was.
The super tech had that. Delta gap. But it was solid filter.itvwas just a cheap oil flush filter.
