Sis had a Montego. It was AWD with self-leveling rear suspension and CVT. It was a solid car but badly underpowered and sounded pretty coarse while accelerating. She got assigned to a job overseas and gave it to her brother in law, who I believes still drives it.
I think she had the rear shocks replaced at one point -- I'm not sure if she had the OE Nivomats installed.
