83 chevy c-10 steering box

So, the truck turns left all day without a problem, but takes a long time to manage a right turn. Gearbox bad or something else? THANKS!

Want to buy this truck, but I'm worried the box isn't the problem.

Geez, TWO nearly 40 year old trucks, neither one drivable, for that much money? Prices ARE out of control!

Square bodies are going up in price. I'm not too surprised at the prices, actually.

What are you after? Project vehicle to mess with or something you can put to work today?

Given the age it could be simple or something that will take forever, once you find all the things that broke between new and now. I suspect it's a bad box but given the age, who knows, maybe it's got some tweaked suspension or frame or who knows what.

the K10 could be the frame issue those years had. the box would rip it's self off the frame. there are gusset kits from LMC truck and the like that can be welded on.
else it's a check valve in the pump or box. either are easy to replace and affordable.
