Well, thank god, their forcast was wrong for this round.

We ended up with 2 inches of snow and currently melting with 35 degrees

I agree with Johnny, I would much rather have hot humid weather than snow any time. I hate snow with a passion and can't wait for summer to arrive here!

My step dad and my mother live in florida. They have said it's very dry down there, kinda scary considering not long ago they had fires down there.

Couple more days like yesterday and I'll have to turn on the A/C. Getting an early start on the yard work this year. The last rain we had was 3 1/2". Just glad that wasn't all snow. The back yard is still soggy.....

Another 80 degree day tomorrow, then back to normal with 30's and 50's and several days of rain..... Rats!

It was nice while it lasted. Got lots done outside.

It sure feels that way during our sunny, moderate, and daylight-filled summers, but the cold, dry, dark winters get old pretty fast. Canada Geese have a good system. High of -11F today, and it's supposed to get down to -29F tonight. It has been a cold winter, or at least it seems that way to me. Fortunately, by this time of year I'm used to it and it doesn't seem that bad. I'm looking forward to spring though.

That's my point. I want to be able to look forward to spring. Heck, I want to have some, instead of nine-month-long summers. I want to be able to dress like a grownup: long pants and sport jackets, and real shirts with sleeves and collars, instead of polo and T-shirts and (gack!) shorts. Bart Simpson is no role model for anybody.

Nine months of any one season, no matter what it is, is too much. If you step outside your door and make a face for nine months of the year, clearly you're living in the wrong place.

I feel soggy, like a bowl of cornflakes soaked in warm milk. Gahhh.

It went form 31 to 8 in less than 2 hours last night after the blizzard!

This morning it was -5 with a -35 windchill

It's still below Zero at Noon.

cold front moved in this morning. 81F yesterday, 37F tomorrow, 19F for a low. brrrrr-f*****ng-brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I swear it went from FLA to ND weather in less than 6 hours out there...

Yeah, it is nice to have the seasonal changes. I did spend an August in Louisiana so I know what you're dreading. By fall, I even look forward to putting the winter tires on and driving in snow. But not nearly as much as I'm looking forward to wearing shorts in a month or two!

Exactly. We should have both cold and hot. And I get gypped on the cold part, so I can't appreciate the hot part.
