That extra 3 tenths of a quart will be the final straw that broke the camel's back.

I'm sure a lot of other Camry owners just dump in 5 quarts, along with a lot of dealerships too. Shouldn't hurt anything, but I wouldn't do it.

They do think about the end user. They want you to save that 3/10's for top offs. IMO, most cars "need" to be overfilled because owners never check their oil and only bring in it to be serviced 3 months after the OLM reminds them.

My truck takes 4.7 qts per the manual, I put in 4 qts and checked the dipstick and it is right above the "fill" or "add" line even after driving it for a week, so that's what I use. If your car eats oil, then dump all 5 in it. If not, then fill it til your dipstick shows the correct level.
Chances are you're changing the oil while the vehicle is in the air so that pan will be empty as it can be. Case in point, my Accord takes 4.5 quarts as per the manual. With the vehicle in the air it takes the full 5 quarts. It irked me since this was my first oil change and I put in 4.75 quarts. Kept checking it while it was cold and it needed the full 5 quarts to bring it up to the full mark. No worries and sleep well.

So how do you know the dipstick is accurate?

Take a chance on living dangerously and just dump in entire contents of those 5 quart containers?
