I have a new 2024 Sierra 1500 I purchased last year in November with only 8k miles currently. I noticed today my front pax door has some paint bubbling along the seam. Aside from the top and bottom blisters. There are a lot of micro bubbles along the edge of the seam. Don’t see any corrosion so I’m guessing it was contamination or moisture at the factory when being painted. Seems like there are some similar cases on some 1500s and Colorados on other forums. Anyone else experience this on newer gen? I don’t even want to deal with a paint pen. I’m calling the dealer tomorrow to have them clean the area and spot paint it. It should be covered under warranty. Last year I traded in my Jeep Gladiator because of the same issue all over the trucks door hinges and hood. Honestly don’t even want to mess with it. Just want a good fix and move on :(

Here’s a close up. Surface looks like a spider web. Maybe it’s some type of foam sealant. No idea. Got an appointment next week at the dealership. Hopefully they can do some type of clean up and touch up. Maybe they only paint the inside of the door?

Is that area up high or down low on the door? I wonder if that crimp is glued as opposed to welded. Either way, with what these vehicles cost these days, it's disheartening to say the least.

The seam only runs roughly the height of the glass. I’m tempted to just paint pen it but obviously it’s worth letting the dealer come up with a solution first. I rather not void any potential warranty claims.
