I made an appointment to test drive a M3P at 2:40pm today for 3pm. Guy let me take it out myself. First time driving an EV.

I was really impressed with how smooth and fast it is. That instant torque and linear power is awesome. Car is insanely quick. I could be happy with this car.

Fit and finish was fine. Better than the 22 ZR2 lol. I know Teslas are not known for their great build quality but it wasn't bad. Seats were comfortable. I thought the interior was nice, although very simplistic. I kind of like that but I'd prefer a standard type dashboard with speedometer gauge etc. Those minor things are not a deal breaker for me.

I do like the dealer experience. Made an online appointment and 20 mins later I'm testing driving a car by myself.

It was 100F out when I was driving it. AC set to 70F. I floored it at least 10 times. Battery went from 70% to 68% by the end of my drive which was probably about 5-10 miles?

@Brons2 thanks for the reminder. Had you not clicked on my post from last week or so today i would have forgot to test drive one.

You can make life miserable for just about any other car on the road with a M3P. I recently replaced the P-Zero rubber with Michelin PS4S; even better!
This car is so easy to live with. The 300 mile range hits the sweet spot for many use cases. You can everyday it unlike so many other performance cars. I charge with the sun's energy, so I skip gas stations and their crazy costs...
I'm at almost 27K in just over 2 years. I'd buy another tomorrow.
One thing: be sure and check your insurance.
