Looks good. That would make a great partner for the Tesla. Might lag a bit in acceleration (compared to the Tesla) but probably okay. ;)

I see it has a manual transmission. So the big questions are (1) does it have an engine oil dipstick?, (2) does it have a spare tire?

And any comments on how a Mustang would be as a long distance cruiser (1,000 km/600 miles a day)?

I had a rental 2017 or 2018 Mustang and it was surprisingly comfortable -- would be fine on a long trip. It wasn't as cushy or roomy as a Challenger, but definitely just fine.

I'm gonna ruin this and say it would be better if it had AWD as to many Mustangs and Corvettes become garage queens everytime there is a snowy/rainy day. Kinda reminds me of people who buy Kimber's 😂. I do like the colour but not into the "boosting" of a Ecoboost,it should always remain to have a proper V8 with natural aspiration.

The only way it would compete with a tesla in acceleration in the real world would be one of the non dual motor base models or something.

Not too crazy about the big displays on the dash and WRX style plastic trim on rear bumper.

Dark Horse looks very interesting.

Not a huge fan of the front end/LED lights but other than that, not bad at all. Plus the whole 480hp/500hp out of 5.0l is legit.

While that is completely true, the Mustang can do more than 3 laps on a real racetrack at speed.

I love the EV's, but an unrestricted Plaid carries enough energy in it's battery pack for 3 laps at Daytona, or about 6 minutes. Unfortunately, the high drain rates means that one lap at speed is much more likely. Followed by a reduction of speed to manage battery life and temp.

The crappy old Mustang with trak-pak can do 12 hours of lapping, given enough manpower. That's a far cry from 6 minutes.
