SERVICE ACTION DO NOT DEMONSTRATE OR DELIVER any new in-stock vehicles involved in this safety recall. A complete Dealer Bulletin will be made available to dealers by the end of 1st quarter, 2023 when it is anticipated that parts ordering information and repair instructions will be available to support this safety recall. IMPORTANT: Dealers should open a Repair Order (RO) only when a full dealer bulletin is published. Opening an RO against an Awareness or Advance Notice will result in warranty rejections against a recall.

Hugely disappointing. A long retired couple just bought an Escape with the 1.5. They watch their money; hope this works out OK.
anything newer with untested parts that are prooly made cheaply offshore can have issues as buyers ARE the beta testers. problems arise from anyone BUT it seems ford is one of the worse unfortunately!! surely an electric vehicle could be a worse case with hybrids not far behind!!
The recall is an "Advance Notice" so there is no repair procedure yet.
