That ticking is weird, not regular. That should go to the dealer. Don’t tell them what oil you have in it.

Dealer won’t do anything. This noise is common to many Coyote engines.

I had a 2016 F150 5.0 with the "normal" engine knock. POS motor. Got rid of it with 30,000 miles.
Had to put 20w50 in it to quite down the noise for trade in.
Another reason I don't buy used vehicles

Yep... it's a Ford, that's what they do. I would think folks would understand from the term "infamous" what they're getting into? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Our 2020 GT has a tick and I’m not worried. I also noticed after first oil change.

I currently have 10w30 Havoline Syn / Fram wire backed Ultra filter and no worry of any extra wear due to tick.

I hit 155 miles per hour, backed off the gas pedal and kept it at 150 for about a mile. Tick didn’t get any louder.

I hope you did that on a track.
