2019 F150 3.5EB Ravenol DXG 5W30 UOA 6.5k

So, had my F150 for about 11k miles by the time I took this sample about a week ago, little over 6,500 miles on this sample. Summer, work, and vacations kept it in longer than intended.

So I’ve got an S&B intake, a 5 Star Tuning E30 & 87 tune. Probably 2k miles or so was done running ~E30 (14 gallons pump E85 in 36 gal tank). I drive the truck pretty hard, especially with the E30 tune. 500+ WHP is pretty intoxicating. I’m thinking about sticking with 6k OCIs while I’ve still got DXG. Thoughts?

Ravenol 0w40 / 5w40 would be interesting .

Silicon is a little elevated but not crazy . I bet that truck is a ton of fun.

Yeah had a little run-in with a guy in a Charger R/T a while back. He tried to pass, I got in it when he got beside me. I put a little daylight between us and stayed there til he let off around 115… for some reason he didnt’t try again? I’m sure his girl gave him quite the earful after getting smacked down by a 4-door, V6 pickup truck

He needs to throw that rock catcher away and get a proper paper filter. Oiled cotton filters are fine in the winter, but definitely not in the dusty conditions that summer brings.

You've got some shearing in that report, so, if it were me, I'd stick with 6000 mile OCIs.
