Bought a new F150 EB... tickets on the horizon!

The funny part about this post

Chevy nor Mopar can compete with this truck head to head

And the Ecoboost still gets bashed around here

Lots to learn guys
Lots to learn !!!!

Blue Oval Rules !!!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁
I've been saying for years that GM needs to do the Ecoboost treatment on the 4.3L V6. They've really missed the boat in that segment of the market.

You know GM had the GMC Typhoon 4.3L
But GM never pushed the platform to its potential and then dropped it.

I owned a Cyclone for a couple of years. But I wouldn't be looking for a reproduction. The new Gen V V6 has no commonality to the traditional small-block 4.3. The new engine makes as much power naturally aspirated as the old engine made turbocharged. I would like to see a modern version with 450+ HP, and a torque curve that starts at 1500 rpm with 500 lb*ft, and just holds it. And while they're at it, implement lean-burn combustion at part loads for incredible, diesel-like fuel economy.

An engine with those specs would be a sweet motor to have. When I bought my 2012 Ecoboost, the test drive sold me. The TQ of that little motor is pretty amazing.

I go to TFL Truck on YouTube occasionally, and watch their Ike Gauntlet videos with the Ecoboosts. They climb it like the hill isn't even there.

Here ya go Subie !
Here’s a target to shoot for 😳

Kool. That big ecoboost would be a nice motor to put in a '63 Galaxie 500 sunliner convertible restoration!
A car my father sold around 1965 and I loved as a kid.

Trucks? For personal use, I like 'em short box / short bed.
Limited utility, but fun to drive - Like a K5 or Bronco without the cap.
I Can't seem to find any shorties around here.
In fact, I can't seem to find many trucks at all - they are all scooped up!

I think the 2.7 ecoboost would be a great engine in any number of vehicles. The driveability is superb.
