The grille reminds me of a very angry Kia Optima gaping it's mouth. What is with the mouth breather styling up front on these new cars? Not a fan of the alien battle cruiser photon reactor head lights either.
That truck could look so much better with a different front fascia and side view mirrors. The mirrors on the new F-150 remind me of Chrysler minivan mirrors.
I think most of the new F-150 is actually quite a nice looking truck, but they had to go all Toyota on the front end.

Let me get it straight, the tow rating is 8000 lbs on 2014 Raptors, but they can't tow. Seems capable enough to me (though the payload is lower than a normal F150).
As to frames snapping, have you seen what people try to do with these? They are very capable for what they are intended for, but they aren't invincible either.

That makes no sense. Putting a 2" lift on a truck isn't going to cause frame failure. Putting a 2" lift on a truck and then jumping it might though. But then it might have broken without the 2" lift at that point.
If it was that fragile a pallet of fertilizer in the bed would break it. That would be a huge liability for Ford, which leads me to believe there is a lot more to this story than the legend being pandered here would lead one to believe......

I'm quite active in the off road community. I have never seen one of these factory brodozers off road. I have seen guys out there in stock pickups, old pickups, jeeps, things-that-really-sholdn't-go-off-road (Dodge Journey) ... never seen one of these off road.

If nothing else, Ford did claim this new version has a stronger frame that is less likely to fail....
I have to wonder about the frame issues. I have 2 F150's with the very same frame as the (somewhat) current Raptor. We do all sorts of heavy work with these trucks and the frames have been perfect. No issues. 150,000 combined miles. We load these truck beds with gravel, to the top in a heaping pile. That's WAY more than they were designed or rated to carry. Tow big things too.

That is the problem with a production high speed off-road truck isn't it. They can't build it tough enough to be idiot proof. It would be interesting if Ford built a proper space framed truck, but a 6000lb ladder frame vehicle is really asking to be broken when driven hard...
