I like it and the GT and GT350R they came out with today. I just am still on the fence with the thought of a desert race truck with a TTV6. I know on paper it is better than a V8, but if I am buying a 1/2ton truck that will see offroad duty, I want a big inefficient V8.

A Ford 10 speed auto. I see warranty repairs up the yang, they better make 3 for every truck sold.
If that truck does anything at altitude, you're gonna want the 'Boost onboard !
And if you simply must have a gas guzzler, the Ecoboost engine under continued boost will do that too!

The front end is a no go for me. I really tried to like the new Fords, but that front end, their incredibly high pricing, and poor warranty sent us packing...

I'd hold out for the 12 speed.

+1 It took me long enough to wrap my head around the idea of an 8 speed AT. I'd sit on the sidelines and see how this one plays out before jumping in.
A Turbo-Diesel would be a nice option though, especially with all those gears. The torque of the diesel would work wonders with it I think.

+1 It took me long enough to wrap my head around the idea of an 8 speed AT. I'd sit on the sidelines and see how this one plays out before jumping in.
