I like the new Camaro, Challenger and Mustang!
The Camaro oil capacities are interesting, 7.6 qts for the 3.6L and 8.9 qts for the 6.2L.

I think this new Camaro is a good looking car. I'd love to play with one with the 6.2L engine. I wouldn't want to OWN one, but it sure would be fun to take it out to a course like Road Atlanta for a few hot laps.

The last generation Camaro, Firebird and TransAm were all very boring cars, sure the had a great engine and 6 speed trans, but the average person wasn't interested in how much HP or Torque the engine made...just the gear heads.

I think they'll sell some, but its not going to help them in any way, shape, or form. The American auto industry is really on the balls of their asses right now. The stock prices prove it.

I personally like the style, maybe not quite as much as the new Challenger. I will probably buy a new 6.2L Camaro, but if the dealers try and mark it up like Dodge did with the SRT8, they can keep it. I'll go buy a Challenger R/T and I never have owned a Mopar.

BTW-If the fed does not bailout GM the new camaro may be a bigger collectors item than you guys think!

Cool - you got by the censor!

Why is it taking GM so long to bring this car out? I understand they have problems, but this car has been shown for at least 3 years now. It was in Transformers the movie. Just seems like a really long time to introduce this car. By the time it comes out, it's going to be old.

I don't know if Oshawa has even started building it yet. If GM keeps going the way they are going, they may never be.

They're supposed to hit showrooms in March, so it's really too late to turn back now...at least on the coupe. But I'm thinking the convertible will never make it.

My roommate has been chomping at the bit for Chevrolet to "get it done already". He's planning on a Victory Red V6 convertible, but I think he may be disappointed at it's absense.

Fine with me. I rather have a Challenger convertible in my driveway anyway....if Chrysler manages it.
