Did he break the 31 splines with the twin screw or did he do the swap before hand? I'm curious because I always wondered how much abuse those half shafts could take.


Sorry, when I said twins I meant twin-turbo

He didn't break it, but he was going to drag it, and the solid axle is much better for a drag-raced car.

And to think, it came down to a low mile Termi or the TL for my daily driver. I still sometimes wish I had bought the Mustang. But less than a year of payments left on the TL and I'll have a nice daily driver TL, a GN, and a Cobra in the garage. Can't wait, and I'm going to get it in the manual version since I already have a drag car.
