Stickers in engine bay say 5W30 but Lexus changed recommendation to 5W20.

I'm planning to change to Redline and would like to hear your recommendations. The 30w Redline has a great NOACK (6 I believe) and the 20W is acceptable at 9 (and slightly better MPG)

Pennzoil Platinum 10w30. N9qck was previously said to be 4.7% before they stopped listing in PDS.

That's a pretty rare car!

How many miles on it?

I would use a 0w-30, but I'm sure you wouldn't notice a difference on a 20 weight.

This.

As another IS250 (auto) owner who just went through a Lexus paid rebuild for the intake valves issue. I'd say use the lowest NOACK oil especially if you are not in cold climate.

10w30 Group IV, lowest noack synthetic, and change on 5k OCI to reduce fuel dilution.

I really like these cars,as I'm thinking about getting one myself. Pennzoil Platinum 10W30 is what she'd get fed.
