You are chasing pao-ester ... which has nothing to do with meeting the Mitsubishi requirements. And if you stick around long enough, you'll find out that there is no "best oil" or at least no consensus as far as I know.
I would chase approvals and not the base oil.

A lot of great info on this site. I think @buster also answered your specific question regarding the base oil.
The companies can tweak or revise formulation and the percentages may change. This much pao, that much ester, Grp III only ... It may even be proprietary info and/or not readily available to average consumer. And we have to ask that question every year or every few months if the formulation has changed or not.
The point is if you have a gallon of a great base oil, will you use it in your car? Or will you check for the requirements, certification, approvals, etc.?
