Hi folks, this UOA was done after a relatively uneventful 7,200 miles. During this time, made a cross country trip to northern Vermont, so the vast majority are highway miles.

Oil used was Quaker State "Torque-Power" Full Synthetic 10w-30 whose marketing seemed to target trucks & 4x4's, but I found the stuff on closeout at Autozone for $2.88 a quart. Filter was a Motorcraft FL-820S. 0.75 quarts for top-up.

Blackstone's reference to "newfound power" was a "Stage 2" ECU upgrade which was installed about 200 miles prior to the oil change.

I was surprised to see the low TBN, especially in that the previous oil seemed to hold up better, which was Motorcraft "Super-Duty" 10w-30, a CJ-4 rated dino oil.

Manufacturer recommends a 6k interval using Mobil 1 0w-40. Does such low TBN indicate this engine is hard on oil? Comments / suggestions / 0.02 welcome.

SRT Turbo 4-cylinder hard on oil? Hmmm...

Thats a great report though, I wonder if the Neon SRT engine beats up oil more than the Caliber engine.
