Maxlife is a good oil but probably not best for this app.
I would recommend a synthetic. If you like Valvoline, Synpower is a great oil otherwise PP or M1 in a 0wXX would probably be my pick.

You want at least 1200 ppm of zinc and 1000 ppm of phosphorus for mild performance or aircooled applications.
If your talking about an engine with a really aggressive flat tappet and dual springs you might look into a race oil for lower detergent levels. Calcium tends to try and strip off ZDDP...

I respectfully disagree. Hes running shelf oil now and you know its got alot of metals in it from break in. No sense in keeping that...
Since you already dumped the factory fill extremely early what ever break in additives it may or may not of had are gone so its not going to benefit at all pushing this fill any further. Go ahead and dump it now to get rid of the break in metals and use the oil of your choice. PU will serve you...
