Nah, St. Augustine is too touristy for me, I tend to head south from Daytona.
McKenna's (on US1) place used to get Maine lobster in once a year, but no longer.
Goodrich's Seafood did have a good reputation, but I'm not a fan.
There's just too many places to mention here, and I didn't even touch on the more upscale ones, like Outrigger's Tiki Bar & Grille.
 
Had this a while back on Bowen Island.
Well executed, so crispy if you dropped a piece on the floor from a height it would've shattered to pieces. Crispy yet moist and with twice fried fries👍👍

The aforementioned Lobster House in Cape May, NJ has knocked it out of the park on each of my visits.

I once worked with a woman whose pop was a railroader. They'd take their "busman's holiday" meals at the Lobster House.
 
There's a place as you enter Cape May...The Lobster House restaurant. It's legendary and it's rightfully labeled a tourist trap but the seafood is excellent and much of it's fresh off the commercial fishing boats that are integral to one of the major industries in the region. It's relatively expensive, but it's good. The restaurants, raw bars, seafood and take out markets are just the retail outlet for their large seafood processing and shipping business. They get a lot of fresh seafood directly...lobsters, fish of many varieties, scallops. What they don't get is Atlantic sourced shrimp... because there really aren't any.
In the Mid-Atlantic and most of the country, you're not getting local, wild caught shrimp. 80% is frozen from farms in India, Indonesia, Thailand....some from South America.

My favorite is their cold seafood platter. It's a half stuffed 1.25-1.5lb lobster stuffed with shrimp salad. 5 very large shrimp, 5-6, mussels,
4-5 crab claws...not blue claws. It's about $38.

It is a shame that farm shrimp, typically for SE Asia is now the standard. One can only imagine the filth and very unsanitary conditions those shrimp are raised in.
 
My Chinese place had a good seafood combo platter....
What made it good was the owner allowed me to get it sans bogus crab, broccoli, and baby corns 🌽 😆
I don't ever order any seafood whatsoever from a Chinese restaurant. Having viewed live and unfrozen seafood in many Chinese markets (to include Chinese market in Honolulu), absolutely no way would I ever order seafood from a Chinese restaurant.

If looked and smelled so bad and repulsive in the Chinese market, imagine it is even worse in Chinese restaurant.
 
It's like Olive Garden, 90% of the food is pre-made, comes shipped in a giant bag from some factory, and then microwaved. It hits the spot if you order the right dish and are in a hurry.
Guess where I am this very moment. 99 percent of all restaurant food comes from two suppliers, and yes it is just microwave or commissary prepared food.
