We went up to an Indian Casino this afternoon for late lunch/early dinner. I hadn't been to this one, but my wife said it was pretty good. It was not pretty good, it was incredible! Here's a list of what I had:
-Snow crab legs
-Oysters on the half shell
-Mussels
-Green Lipped Mussels
-Clams
-Cold smoked salmon, the best salmon of any kind I've ever eaten.
-Cold shrimp
-Shrimp ceviche
-Crab salad
-Saffron rice

In the seafood section, they also had smoked salmon pizza, fried calamari, crab stuffed avocados, and more that I can't remember. I didn't even visit the meats and salad areas, so I didn't have any of the prime rib, roasted turkey breast, fried chicken, roast chicken, etc. that was there. I did take note of the brussels sprouts with bacon, for the next trip. You can only eat so much without being uncomfortably stuffed, so I concentrated on the seafood.

This was the first time I've had green-lipped mussels, and they're much milder than the blue mussels I'm familiar with. I like fried seafood of various kinds, but everything I had today was steamed, raw, or smoked. I haven't eaten food this good in a very long time.

Wow, yeah I need to try a buffet at an Indian casino here in Colorado, Blackhawk. Going to be hard to compete with yours though.

We hit a couple on a regular basis - usually during seafood and prime rib nights. Get a better senior citizen deal.
Never leave hungry. Sometime extra money, break even, or a little less. The main thing is eat good and have fun. A show and a drink now and then, its all good.
Wife has control when to quite gambling. Gotta give her that so in the long run, ahead.

As much as I like the concept, all-you-can-eat buffets just don't jive with my body anymore. My stomach doesn't handle large quantities of food at once very well. Hence, I never get my money's worth.

Same here. Just give me one nice plate of food.

I think it's regularly $26.00 apiece, but there was some sort of special, so it was about $21.00 ea. The price includes drinks, even alcoholic ones, which for the tipplers is a screamin' deal. We don't drink, but that's still cheap.

Viejas.

Thanks. I had been in Pala, Harrah's Rincon and Valley View but not Viejas. There are more than 6-7 Indian Casinos in San Diego county.

Of the seafood you had I like these: snow crab leg, oysters on the half shell, clams, cold smoked salmon, fried calamari. Never had green-lipped mussels so I don't know how it tasted.
