if it’s for a spare I wouldn’t have worried assuming it was well discounted to start. Or If really worried plug and repatch. Technically it may not be the right thing to do but Growing up in rural area on gravel roads I saw repairs like this all the time and they just got patched and move on and honestly don’t recall ever having catastrophic failures after the fact.

so now send all 4 back because you wont have matching set.. and let him eat shipping for being a douche!
IF they wont pay return shipping just do a dispute.. because item isn't as advertised and not in usable condition.
I would want prepaid return shipping from them. then if they dont refund you.. can still do chargeback..
other options give them openings to be dirtbags again.
If he has to eat shipping both ways a few times maybe he will change his ways? Because sending that out is a scam.
