I only run synthetic media. Use the XP or the Napa Platinum equivalent.
There is more to a filter than bench testing.... how it does in a real engine is a far cry from bench testing.
And, as seen with GM issues, even with a PD pump, certain filters can cause lower oil pressures and reduce flow in the engine. Someone refuses to admit to pump slip and overreacting pump dump bypasses caused by restrictive filters, especially when loaded. PD only works on paper and not in the real world.
