Watch out for rebates. A month ago, from this forum, a deal with rockauto and anco blades, got three pairs and made $2 from the whole thing.

I agree with the Michelins. Best wiper blade value IMO. I also use RainX windshield washer. It makes the wipers glide more smoothly. You know it works when the raindrops bead and get blown off the windshield when the car is at speed. Sometimes I don't even turn on the wipers cause the water just glides off.

If you have a BigLot's in your area, check to see in their auto dept. for Rain-X Latitude/Repel Beam Style Wiper Blades for $10/ea. BigLot's doesn't carry the R-X in all sizes but, I'll purchance anything close in my sizes as long as the wipers aren't too long in length.

I used to use the $7.99 frameless goodyear? ones from Costco, but they chatter/skipped horribly after a few months on almost all cars i've ever used them on. I now have Valeo Ultimate on all three Mazdas, well worth the initial cost and all are working very well even after a year on the cars. I got them on amazon when they were running a huge sale on the, which I think they do every spring anyhow.
I was at Walmart and saw these new michelin stealth wipers... I picked up a set as they looked like a classic style wiper with a more fancy, beam-style design.
I installed them and they appear to work better than the Icons and Rain-X ones in the past. I get a tiny bit of liftoff at the very edge of the stroke on the drivers side, but it is minimal. Nice, streak-free wipe and appear to work well.
So this will do for now... See how these hold up.

I had excellent luck with Bosch Steeltechs on my Toyota Tundra. Was surprised that it lasted a year since they where cheap-replace-every-6-months wipers. Replaced it just in case. Good windsheid prep before installing new wipers helps.

Framed blades often wipe better than frameless ones due to the pressure points. I think you are starting to see a comeback of framed blades under the new "hybrid blade" designs. Rain-X fusion is another one that comes to mind.

Before I started using OEM inserts, the Michelin blades worked the best for me.
But man, the OEM inserts last at least a year for me, and they're dirt cheap, so it's all I've been using for the past 3-4 years.

My last set were OEM's bought from the dealer. They wipe very well edge to edge (of course), but started to streak quite quickly. Within a month or two at most... I replaced the rubber insert and within a month it was shot again. Not sure what was up with that, but very well can be my worn wind shield tearing them up quickly. The insert cost me like $6, which is not exactly that cheap considering I can buy a new wiper blade for that much. But I guess that is due to me buying them at the dealer... If these new ones go bad I assume auto part stores carry them very cheaply.
I will see with these ones how well in the long-term they do... If they start smearing within a month or two I will go to the cheapest blades I can find and replace often... No sense in buying $10 blades for that to happen!
I did a good cleaning on the windshield right after I installed the new ones... I clayed it and applied some sealant to it (Meguiars M21). So we will see if that helps, although I clayed right before winter as well so there really should not have been too much stuck on the windshield.
