Windows reminders. How do I shut them off?

I've got a Windows desktop that's about a year old. I keep getting these "black box" reminders on the bottom right side.
You can get rid of it by clicking "no thanks", but another one will always pop up later. Currently have a "Turn On Windows Backup" reminder on the screen. The reminders vary. How do I stop them completely?

Yea, I've got another computer running Ubuntu. Unfortunately, my wife has to use this one also.

There's a version of Linux that looks like a windows desktop. Tell the wife it's a windows update.

Just turn notifications off.

Unfortunately some folks have to use programs that won't run on Linux.

Never a Windows update reminder. It's always different, usually (in the end run) Windows wanting money or something from me.
I'll get the notifications shut off. Thanks, group.
